The Chair-Check® II Control Unit is an extremely effective chair or toilet monitor to aid in the reduction of costly falls!
Operates on a readily available 9 volt alkaline battery. Also available is a nickel-metal hydride battery/companion charger which allows recharging over 1000 times.
Selectable alarm sounds allow the Chair-Check II to be distinguished from other equipment. An alternate sound may be used on patients who are at higher risk to provide a priority alert.
The Chair-Check II continuously monitors battery condition while the unit is armed and provides a distinctive alert to the nursing staff when the battery voltage drops to an unacceptable level.
The Chair-Check II automatically arms itself immediately upon detecting occupant weight on the Sensormat®.
The Chair-Check II provides an immediate alarm when weight is taken off of the Sensormat. The instant alarm is necessary for effective chair monitoring since the patient is already postured to stand up.
The Chair-Check II alarm automatically silences when weight is back on the Sensormat.
The Chair-Check II offers a user selectable three second delay for bed monitoring. For home use or in facilities where there is no nurse call system, the Chair-Check II offers an economical alternative for bed monitoring.
The Chair-Check System uses low cost, disposable, pressure-sensitive mats. Disposable mats prevent the spread of contaminants between patients, and are exceptionally cost effective. Sensormat pressure-sensitive mats are available for chair, toilet, or bed monitoring.
The Chair-Check System has pioneered numerous patented features covered by U.S. Patents.
The Chair-Check II System conforms to U.L. Standard 1069 and is certified to CSA standard C22.2 No. 205R.
